About us

The Bequia Pentecostal Church, a member church of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies (PAWI) St. Vincent and the Grenadines District is situated at Union Vale, in the most beautiful Northern Grenadine island called Bequia.
The church was established on 22nd January 1989, under the leadership of the late Bishop Noel Clarke. With a mission to, "Reach the lost, Disciple the converts and Empower the people".
As is written in 1 Corinthians 3: 6, "one planted, one watered, but God gave the increase" the late Bishop Noel Clark planted, then he passed the torch to a then very young Reverend Stephen Olivierre (our present presiding Bishop of the PAWI SVG district).
Rev. Ollivierre then passed the torch on to Reverend Andrew Jordan, who then passed the torch to Pastor Philip Wilson, who then passed it on to Reverend Cosmos John. It was later passed on to Pastor George Samuel, who then passed it to Reverend Elroy Martin, and finally, the torch was then passed on to Reverend Keith Graham, our (present assistant presiding Bishop of the PAWI SVG district).
This year (2026) we celebrate thirty-seven years of ministry on the island of Bequia, and we join with the songwriter and sing, "We have come this far by faith, leaning on the Lord, trusting in his holy word, He never failed us yet."
The church presently has a membership of seventy-three.
We host a West Indies School of Theology certificate programme to prepare believers on the island for the work of the ministry.
In 2016, with the goal of empowering our people, we launched the BPC Products.
If ever you're on the island of Bequia feel free to join us, a warm welcome awaits you at the Place Where Inspiration Brings Transformation.
We passionately worship God with a unique island flavour and preach the word in season and out of season based on our statement of faith.

Meet our pastor

Reverend Keith Graham
Reverend Keith Graham is a native of Guyana, where he both accepted the Lord as his savior and the call to Ministry.
Reverend Graham has been preaching the word of God for thirty-three years, with thirty-one years in pastoral ministry. Since December of 2005 he has served as the pastor of this assembly, the Bequia Pentecostal Church.
His passion for empowering God's people has led him to a role of servant leadership, where he not only serves by example in spiritual things, but also in the practical empowerment of the people in the church and the community. His passion leads him to challenge the church through the mission statement, "Reaching the lost, Discipling the Convert, Empowering the people".
He is a passionate teacher of the word; he loves to take time to explain and teach God's word, with the aim of growth of the body of Christ. Unity of the body of Christ across denomination is a goal he has embarked on and works towards at every opportunity.
Reverend Graham is a graduate of the Assemblies of God Bible Institute in Guyana and the Caribbean School of Theology. He is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assembly of the West Indies and has an enormous passion for the work of missions. He served as the Mission Director of PAWI, St. Vincent District for a number of years, a post he relinquished when he was elected, the Assistant Presiding Bishop of the St. Vincent District.
He also serves as a licensed marriage officer in St. Vincent and Grenadines. A faithful and committed husband and father himself, having his wife and three children serve alongside him in Ministry is a great joy to him.
Reverend Graham's favourite quote:
"God is a good God, the devil is a bad devil. There is nothing bad about God and nothing good about the devil "
