Step-by-Step Directions

 

 From the ferry dock.

 

Turning right will take you onto the main road exploring Port Elizabeth.

​

• Travel through town: Continue along the main road past Knights Trading and continue straight ahead on the road that takes you past the Bequia Hospital, Bank of SVG (Bequia branch) and to the intersection. Turn left onto the bypass road and continue along back onto the main road heading to Union Vale.

• Head toward Union Vale: Follow the road toward Union Vale. This is the same road that eventually leads to Level and Spring.

• Look for the church: The Bequia Pentecostal Church is located just before the intersection where the road splits toward Level and Spring. It will be on your right-hand side as you approach Union Vale.​

 

Turning left, will take you along the main road past the supermarket.

​

• Turn right on the corner at the supermarket. This road continues straight way to Union Vale.

• Head toward Union Vale: Follow the road inland toward Union Vale. This is the same road that eventually leads to Level and Spring.

• Look for the church: The Bequia Pentecostal Church is located just before the intersection where the road splits toward Level and Spring. It will be on your left-hand side as you approach Union Vale.

Transport Options

• Taxi: Taxis are the most common way to get around. Drivers are familiar with the church and can take you directly there from the dock.

• Walking: It’s a longer uphill walk (about 15–20 minutes), but possible if you prefer.

Local Tip

​

Union Vale is a pretty well-known area. Simply telling a taxi driver “Bequia Pentecostal Church, Union Vale” or "the church just before Spring" will get you there quickly.

 

Rates are fixed, but it’s always good to confirm the fare before starting the ride.
